December Schedule for Book Clubs of Williams County Public Library
If you love to read and discuss books, you are invited to come participate and be a part of the many book clubs offered by Williams County Public Library. Various WCPL branches host monthly meetings for their clubs. The meeting schedule for December 2019 is as follows: Wednesday, December 04 at 1:00 pm: The Pioneer Branch Library Booktalkers will discuss, “The Book that Matters Most” by Ann Hood. Thursday, December 05 at 6:00 pm: The Edgerton Branch Library adult book club, Open Horizons, will talk on, "A Piece of the World” by Christina Baker Kline. Thursday, December 12 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm: Murder by the Book, at Bryan Main Library, will go over “A Christmas Return" by Anne Perry. Saturday, December 14 at 9:30 am: The Edgerton Branch Library Breakfast Club, for 4th and 5th graders, will enjoy a hot breakfast while talking about “James and the Giant Peach” by Roald Dahl. Monday, December 16 at 6:30 pm: The Stryker Branch Library’s OverReaders Anonymous adult book club, will talk over "The Green Road" by Anne Enright. Wednesday, December 18 at 1:00 pm: The Pioneer Branch Library Booktalkers will discuss, “A Patchwork Christmas Collection” by Judith McCoy Miller. Wednesday, December 18 at 7:00 pm: The Edon Branch Library club, Page Turners, will talk on "A Spool of Blue Thread" by Anne Tyler. Thursday, December 19 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm: Novel Ideas, at Bryan Main Library, will go over “The Music Shop" by Rachel Joyce. Thursday, December 19 at 7:00 pm: The Edon Branch Library murder mystery book club, Murder in the Library will meet to go over, "Eeny Meeny" by M.J. Arlidge. If you are interested in joining any of these book clubs, stop in to the WCPL branch where the book club is located, pick up a copy of the next book to be discussed at the library desk, and attend next month’s meeting! |
