On Friday, November 8th the Edon Branch Library will be having a Family Movie Night! Families are invited to enjoy a FREE and relaxing night out at the library! Starting at 7:00 pm, come in your jammies for a cozy evening of entertainment. Watch the 2019 new release, Disney’s The Lion King (rated PG) on the 90” screen, in front of the library fire place. Pizza, drinks, and snacks will be served. You don’t have to spend money to have a great family night together, simply visit the library!

Disney’s The Lion King, directed by Jon Favreau, journeys to the African savanna, where a future king is born. Simba idolizes his father, King Mufasa, and takes to heart his own royal destiny. But Scar, Mufasa’s brother, has plans of his own. The battle for Pride Rock is ravaged with betrayal, tragedy and drama, ultimately resulting in Simba’s exile. With help from a curious pair of newfound friends, Simba will have to figure out how to grow up and take back what is rightfully his. Disney’s The Lion King utilizes pioneering filmmaking techniques to bring treasured characters to life in a whole new way.
