The Stryker Branch Library will be holding a “Creepy & Spooky Creatures” program with Lauren Broddrick, Naturalist from Maumee Bay State Park. This program is for children, and will be held on Monday, October 28th, from 3:15 to 4:00 pm. Learn what lurks in the night, and what makes weird noises in the dark. Are snakes slimy? What’s the deal with those spooky bats? Come learn about our native Ohio wildlife with a spooky twist! Participants will get a chance to get up close and personal with live native animals and take home a craft. There will be animal pelts, owl mounts, a coyote mount, as well as live turtles, snakes, frogs, and a toad! Registration is NOT required to attend this FREE program. The Stryker Branch Library is located at 304 S. Defiance St. For more information, please call 419-682-5081.
