The Edon Branch Library will begin their summer reading programs on June 3rd and finish July 31st. “Adventure Begins at Your Library” and this year there will be stories, games, activities, music and special visitors all included in the summer fun, including themed programs and prizes!

Pick up your exciting Summer Reading Program theme package. We’ve got numerous activities lined up for this summer, along with prizes up for grabs. You’ll get tickets to enter prize drawings, for books checked out, programs attended, and for other summer activities. Pick up your package on June 3rd for an extra ticket!
National Donut Day-Stop in for a Donut!, June 6th, 9:00AM-12:00PM, Open to All Ages
Balloon Dart Game, June 11th, 2:00PM-5:00PM
Kids, ages 4+, try your luck popping balloons. Some even have Summer Reading tickets behind them!
Summer Fun Day at Walz Park Shelter House, June 14th, 12:00PM –4:00PM
Visit with Outreach Manager Loni Smith; play yard games, listen to music and story time. Ride in Furry Oversized Animal Karts from Four of a Kind Entertainment from 12pm to 3pm. There will be a free book giveaway and free bottled water while supplies last.
Exotic Zoo, June 14th, 3:00PM, Open To All Ages
This unique traveling zoo provides a safe and educational way for everyone to learn about wild animals in various habitats. All ages will be excited to see, feel, and observe animals we don’t normally see in our community. You never know what animal you’ll meet!
